His numbers are still not going in the right direction, so for those of you that are praying, please pray that they would start to correct themselves quickly. He is taking some juice through a straw without it coming back up, and that's a really good sign.
He slept for most of the night last night (so did Mom and Dad), and so we've got a rested and refreshed outlook today.
To the many churches around the country (and around the world) who took the time to stop and pray for Max this past weekend, we are grateful.
Much Love,
Sam Middlebrook

Septemter 8th is a good day. It's my brothers birthday, we found out we are having another girl today, and today God has geven the Middlebrooks rest. May you all toil hard in this trial and present Christ as our healer Lord. (And may He continue to grant you all rest)

Hey Max! I'm so sorry that you're going through such a difficult time with your health. My 2 yr old girl was born 6 weeks premature and was in the hospital too for almost 2 months. Her parents were very worried but as always God took good care of her and she happy and well today. I know God cares just as much about you and will keep you in His hand just as He did Abby.
I look forward to hearing good news from the blog soon, and we'll keep praying for you little brother!

Small world!! Your dad's cousin, Brook McKnight's wife, Kristi sent an email to my friend Julie in Dallas. So that went from Seattle to Bakersfield, CA to Dallas, TX. Julie then sent me an email about you. I live in Phoenix, AZ. However, I am from Tomball, TX which is where your dad is from... and I knew him when we were younger! So weird, huh? You'll have to get your parents to trace that on a map for you. Kinda fun!
Hang in there. We'll pass this along to others in various parts of the nation. I already told my friend Carla who also knows your dad. She lives in Spring, TX and will be praying.

We are continuing to pray for you and a quick recovery. God bless you this evening as you sleep.

Hey Max-
I got an email about you today. I work with kids your age at Cornwall Church. Do you know the Veggie Tales song, "God is Bigger than the Boogie Man"? It's pretty silly... but it also says that "God is watching over you and me." Don't forget that. You are so brave!
