A good day

Max had a good day today. Although his numbers on his blood work were still low, there were some glimpses of "our Max" today that shown through brilliantly. The highlight of his day was a wagon ride out to the park (the park is a part of the hospital).

The best news for us as parents was watching him EAT - he had two bowls of strawberries, and few other small things today.

Continue to pray for his numbers to go back up!

Hi,
I live in Cheney, Washington, 15 miles from Spokane, Washington. I read about you on the Siesta Fiesta blog, and want you to know we are praying for you to feel better very, very soon. I am Grammy to 5 wonderful grandsons, John, age 12; Noah age 9; Luke, age 7; Isaac, age 6; and Sam, turning 3 this Sunday, so I know alot about boys! God bless you Max, and your family.

Dear Max,
We sure missed you at Kids-4-Him, and we pray that you'll get better very soon so you and Levi can join us! We talked about how God created everything--the sun, moon, stars, water, earth, plants, animals and people. Each of Levi's classmates had fun taking turns pretending to be animals while the rest of us guessed. Our verse is Genesis 1:1 "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth." What animals can you pretend to be? My little girl Abby spent many months at Children's Hospital when she was a tiny baby. They take very good care of kids there, so I know you'll be better soon. Remember that Jesus loves you very much.
With love from Levi's Teacher Debby and the Orange Class at Sterling Drive Church

Good Morning Max!!

Sweet ride!

So, we took Biggers to the lake yesterday and let him loose! He has this ball that is so big he can hardly get his mouth around it!
He would jump into the lake with it but the water would seep into his mouth and he would let go of the ball. He wouldn't come back in without his ball so my daughter jumped in with all her clothes on and had to swim out to get him...AND his ball! THEN HE DID IT AGAIN!!Crazy dog!!

Hope you're feeling better Bud! You and your family remain in all of our prayers!

Hey Max,

I've been following your progress and glad to hear you are feeling a lttle better and more like yourself. I pray today is the best day yet. I'm also glad to hear you look forward to painting and other fun things. You will be home soon I pray, left with just memories of your stay at the hospital. The memories of the tough times will pass but you will always remember how much your mom and dad and others love you. Get better soon. Scott and Nick Holen
